Old Photographs

This photograph was taken in about 1950 and shows the 'new' Worlingworth Post Mill, originally assembled in the early 1860s, looking quite derelict. The fantail has gone and the sails look very dilapidated. Part of the roundhouse of the 'old' post mill can just be seen at the extreme right. This roundhouse still stands today and is at least 200 years old.
