Under no circumstances can Hall Users bring Electrical Goods into the Hall for use, unless, they can provide a valid PAT testing certificate which must be produced at the time of Booking. All Electrical goods used in the Hall must by law, be PAT tested for insurance purposes.

Heating

The heating in the hall is paid for by the user via a £1 slot meter, this is situated just inside the main hall, on the right hand side.

Decorating the Hall

We do not allow the use of staple guns, selotape or anything that will mark the walls. We have provided Cup Hooks, which are spaced at regular intervals around the main hall, for this purpose.

Rubbish

We request that Hall Hirers take all their rubbish away after their event. We have to pay to have it removed, so this helps to keep our Hall Hire to a minimum.

Table Tennis Table

There is an outdoor table tennis table for use by anyone. Bats and balls are available from within the building, please return after use.

Kitchen

The community centre now has a commercial cooker and dishwasher. This project would not have been completed without the generous donations from Cllr. Matthew Hicks (Suffolk County Council), Mid Suffolk District Council, the Godgold Trust, The Southolt Townlands Trust and the Worlingworth Flower and Produce Show. Thank you.

Help us raise funds.

There are many ways in which you can assist with fund raising e.g. why not join our tote and/or for web users, Log on to www.easyfundraising.org.uk From this site you can shop at M&S, Argos, Boden, Laura Ashley, Tesco and many other high street stores online, as well as buying house and car insurance etc. Have a look, browse, shop! The sellers will then donate either a fee or a percentage of what you spend to our community centre. Just search for Worlingworth Community Centre in the list of charities and register as a supporter. After all, every penny counts.

Message from a community centre committee member about shopping on line while also helping the community centre:

I'm helping Worlingworth Community Centre to raise money whenever I shop online - could you do the same? It's very simple - just follow this link

Why not register and shop with over 2000 well known retailers like Amazon, Argos, M&S, eBay and many more. Whenever I buy something, the retailer makes a donation to Worlingworth Community Centre. They've helped other causes raise over £2,000,000 so it really does work.

I'd be really grateful if you could use easyfundraising too. It won't cost you a penny extra to shop through easyfundraising and you can even save money with special offers and voucher codes.
