We are now aware of two companies that have plans to bring Fibre Broadband to Worlingworth.
They are County Broadband, and Gigaclear.
County's website is : County Broadband
Gigaclear's website is : Gigaclear
Both companies will eventually be providing us with internet that comes over Fibre Optic cables, rather than the current Fibre / Copper hybrid that most of us will have - Time estimates are late this year, likely next year at the earliest based on conversations with both businesses.
Gigaclear's cheapest contract at the moment is up to 200 Mbps which is £17 a month, for an 18 month contract, on their more expensive products they also supply a mesh access point, which will greatly extend your wifi range. However prices are significantly higher after the initial contract ends.
County's cheapest contract is up to 100 Mbps is £34 a month for a 2 year contract, I do not believe they offer any mesh options - but I will enquire with them in the coming weeks, and if there are any new customer discounts on offer.
We don't know who will build first, so please do be careful about signing up to any lengthy contracts, however they usually prioritise builds by interest, so if you're interested please do register on their websites!
