A monthly church and village newsletter is published with information about events, church services and much more. If you would like an item included, please contact Val Swallow
NOTES FOR GUIDANCE If you know of anyone who does not receive a copy of the monthly newsletter, either by voluntary delivery or with their newspapers, please let Val know on 01728 628068.
All articles should be sumitted on A5 and typed in Arial font size 10, thus saving paper. If you have any problems with this, please ring Val on 01728 628068.
We aim that the magazine is delivered by the end of the month, with the exception of the January magazine. With this in mind, we need all submissions no later than the 20th of the preceding month. This of course could change occasionally due to holidays of the printing team. All emailed submissions to Val Swallow Handwritten articles etc can be sent to Val Swallow, 01728 628068.
We are not planning to do away with printing but if you require an emailed copy of this magazine please let the editor know with your email address and a copy will be sent as a PDF file at the end of the month. This could also help in emergencies such as a result of a printer malfunction or bad weather.
Delivery and Printing of the Church and Village News
Over 550 copies are printed on a dedicated copier in Worlingworth.
Costs of printing and paper have increased considerably over the past few years and we have decided to do a small amount of advertising to cover the increased costs. So from March we are asking for adverts for small businesses and services (see Page 13).
The adverts will be at the back of the magazine but not on the back page.
Delivery of the magazine is as follows :
Steven Tuckwell delivers with the daily papers on Monday to Friday in Bedfield, Southolt, Monk Soham and Worlingworth. If you are away Steven will not deliver (unless you arrange with him).
Other deliveries are made by volunteers whom we thank : Amanda Ashton, Janet Rodwell, Julitte. Colin Wilkinson, Chris Stanford, Vera and Charlie Abbott, Raymond Cornish, David and Jean Tye, John Sharp, John and Rita Ridgwell, Jane and Bernard Butler, Valerie Swallow, Shirley Rutterford, Liz Searle and the ladies of Monk Soham. If by any chance you receive 2 copies or you know of anyone who doesn't receive a copy , please contact the editor. If you feel you can help to deliver please contact the editor
There are always spare copies in Bedfield and Worlingworth churches and the Box on Bedfield Green. If you would like another copy please contact the editor.

Sponsor a coloured page
As you may have noticed the editors of the Church and village newsletter have cut down the coloured paper for the outer cover of the newsletter. This is due to the cost of the coloured paper.
If you would like to sponsor the paper for 1 month i.e. for a special event or dedication, this will cost £10. You can do it anonymously, if you prefer, but this will be advertised as an "Anonymous Sponsor".
If more than one person requests the same month they will be contacted.
If you would like to sponsor a page, please make cheques payable to "Benefice Newsletter" and send, together with your request, colour of paper and the month you would prefer, to Val Swallow, Ivy Cottage, Shop Street, Worlingworth. Tel: 01728 628068.
