Safari Supper 2017
Update February 2017
Heads up for the 8 July - theme Hawaiian, so dust off your grass skirts! Tickets - £22 to include drinks on arrival, starter, main, cheese & coffee. Pudding course at The Granary, New Road. New host houses welcome. If you would like to register your interest for a ticket or would like more information, please contact Diana on 01728 628077
The next Safari Supper is already in the planning and next year is on Saturday 8 July.
The theme is Hawaiian so, for those who like to dress the part, get your coconuts out and your brightly coloured shirt on!
For those new to the village, the Safari Supper is a popular annual event which raises funds for St Mary's Church restoration projects. Recent restoration has been to the flint work panels on the outside of the Grade 1 church.
We have about 11 starter houses and 11 main course houses around Southolt & Worlingworth and each house has between 6 - 14 people depending on the hosts capacity. Moving from starter house to main course you will sit with a different set of people and finally everyone meets up at the pudding house so it's a great informal way to meet people in the village and surrounding area.
The host houses are given the menu, the main ingredients and instructions. We will be asking for host houses next month but if you would like to register interest as a starter or main course host for a minimum of 4 guests please let me know.
The tickets will include a drink on arrival, starter, main, choice of pudding, coffee & cheese. (more details next month )
