Fare increase
FARE INCREASE - 1st JANUARY 2023 We have held our fares at the current level since summer 2018. We continue to operate as a non-profit organisation and we receive no subsidies. During this four and a half years since our fares were last increased our operating costs have risen significantly especially fuel and maintenance over the last year. To help towards covering our increased costs we have no choice but to increase fares by 10% from 1st January. Concessionary bus pass holders will continue to travel free

BECOME A DRIVER FOR THE COMMUNITY BUS!
The Committee is looking to increase our numbers of volunteer drivers for the Community bus. The bus is a vital link to other towns and villages in the area for many local residents to do their shopping or visit friends and relatives. Being a driver involves driving the bus maybe two or three times per month and is a rewarding way to become involved in something so very much needed in the Community Please call Alan Nette-Thomas 685694
