I am originally from Ipswich, but travelled about a little bit including spell in St Albans, before moving back to Ipswich in the 90’s. My wife and I moved out to Worlingworth in 2013 to be nearer to two of our four grandchildren.
My wife, Jackie, and I met on an Archery course at Hallowtree Scout and Guide campsite where we were both volunteer wardens, her a Guide Leader and myself a Scout Leader. We then went on to found the Blue Arrows Archery Club in Ipswich which is still going strong today.
As a qualified Management Accountant, I have spent most of my working life working for public sector organisations ranging from the Post Office to education, a sector where I have spent nearly 20 years passionately believing in the principles of lifelong learning, and that you are never too old to stop learning. I am now the Accountant for Suffolk New College, where I aim to keep this view going.
I hope to be able to represent your views fairly, and to help to keep the uniqueness of the village that has now become home.
