Having visited Suffolk many times since childhood, Martin and I finally moved here in 2013. We love the countryside around Worlingworth and are committed to trying to promote local wildlife in our garden. We have found everyone incredibly welcoming and want to do what we can to helping out with village life. I am keen to keep the village footpaths maintained and accessible and am involved with litter picking, membership of the History Group and the Gardening Club.

As a volunteer driver on the community minibus, I enjoy meeting people and hearing the local stories. Our grandsons are regular users of our lovely play facilities when they visit!

Before retirement I had a varied working life as a physiotherapist in the NHS, a development worker in India, a community worker and education officer in Leeds and in Wales and finally worked as an evaluator of aid programmes, mainly in Africa.

This means I have worked in the voluntary sector, public service and private sector and hopefully acquired skills and experience that will be of use to the Parish Council in the service of the people of Worlingworth.
