I have lived in Suffolk all my life, where I gained my BA(Hons) degree and became a Qualified Teacher.
My past history has involved guiding the youth and young people through Guiding and Scouting, which led to becoming heavily involved in managing the Scout and Guide campsite at Hallowtree in Ipswich. I then went on to become an Archery coach which took me teaching all over Suffolk. This led me on to setting up the Blue Arrows Archery Club, which soon went on to be a club for everyone, young and old, and the club is still going strong.
Moving to Worlingworth in 2013 with my husband Richard, gave me an opportunity to be near family and soon saw the value of living in such a beautiful location, and I wanted to support the local population by providing parents with Childcare support.
Everyone in the village makes you feel so welcomed, and with my new role it takes me out and about in the environment, so I feel as though I can contribute and be a voice for the residents of the village on the Parish Council.
