I have lived in Suffolk for over 25 years, mainly in a neighbouring village, although in Worlingworth for only the past twelve years. My first career was as a secondary school teacher, teaching mainly History, but I now work full time for National Trading Standards.
I have two sons - Robert who lives and works in Cambridge and Nick who lives and works in London.
I was invited to become a Parish Councillor in 2009 and I accepted because I wanted to become more involved in the life of the community. One of my main interests is the extent to which villagers can keep in touch with what is happening in their community which is one reason why I agreed to help develop the Parish website.
My interests include music (both listening to a wide range of musical styles and also playing the piano) and food and wine!
