I came to Suffolk in 1976 to teach English at Framlingham College, organise its dramatic productions and coach the 1st XV rugby team. I was a boarding Housemaster and then the day Housemaster. Eventually I became the Senior Master dealing with marketing, recruitment, and the development of the international section of the school.
My wife, who traces her family connection with Worlingworth to the 1700s, myself, and our four children moved to the village in 1987. For many years we have been renovating our lovely farm house and restoring and converting three of its redundant barns into homes. Two of our children with their spouses and five of our grandchildren now live in two them. A young couple and two chlidren live in the other one.
My hope is that I can be of some help to the people, the development and the preservation of our village.
My interests include team sports, listening to classical music especially choralworks, my family and, of course, DIY building!
